THE CLIENT VISION
Notley sought a visionary planning and production partner to bring their ambitious concept for an inaugural awards gala to life—one that would shine a spotlight on the transformative “changemakers” of the Austin community. Their goal was nothing short of spectacular: to craft a premier gala experience that would captivate and energize the city, setting a new standard for event excellence and celebration.
THE PLAN
The plan, inspired by the mantra “not your grandma’s gala,” aimed to revolutionize the event space with a dynamic blend of cutting-edge lighting, immersive motion graphics, stylish decor, and electrifying live entertainment. Each element was meticulously designed to immerse guests in an unforgettable experience, transporting them far beyond the ordinary.
EVENT HIGHLIGHTS
The Moontower Ball was a spectacular celebration of social impact in Austin, leaving an indelible mark on all who attended. The evening commenced with a vibrant cocktail reception, where guests were treated to live paintings, a roving saxophonist, and mesmerizing aura photography. As DJ Mel's tunes filled the air, attendees mingled and forged new connections.
The dinner program was highlighted by a compelling keynote address from a Nobel Peace Prize nominee, followed by the prestigious Changemaker Awards. These awards honored seven exceptional individuals and their teams for their unwavering dedication and impactful contributions.
The night culminated in an electrifying seventies-themed after-party, where a high-energy eight-piece band set the stage for non-stop dancing. Guests were enchanted by reflective disco-ball dancers and indulged their sweet cravings at a whimsical cotton candy station, ensuring the festivities continued well into the night.
