The Austin Parks Foundation’s Party for the Parks is a vibrant annual fundraising event that supports the city’s public parks and green spaces. Held on a Wednesday within the Austin City Limits Music Festival at the Tito’s stage, the event showcases the best of the Platinum ACL festival experience, featuring an all-inclusive, premium experience with awesome eats, treats, drinks, games, and fun culminating in a private concert with an ACL performing artist.

THE CLIENT VISION
The Austin Parks Foundation sought an event production partner capable of orchestrating an extraordinary party and private concert, all while skillfully navigating the complexities of the permitting process and respectfully operating within the constraints of the ACL production footprint. They needed a partner who could blend creativity with logistical precision, ensuring that every detail—from event planning to execution—met the highest standards of excellence, ultimately delivering a memorable and seamless experience.
THE PLAN
To orchestrate an extraordinary event for the Austin Parks Foundation, the plan involved several strategic steps. Initially, a thorough consultation helped define the opportunities for improvement. Securing necessary permits and ensuring compliance with local regulations was a top priority, involving close coordination with city officials. A detailed event plan was crafted, integrating ACL’s production constraints, and a creative concept reflecting the Foundation’s vision and mission was developed. Ensuring previous hot-button logistical aspects such as transportation, setup, staffing, and an inclement weather plan were thoughtfully planned were critical factors to guarantee a stress-free event experience for all.
EVENT HIGHLIGHTS
The Party for the Parks was a resounding success. Held at the Tito’s Handmade Vodka stage, featuring an intimate setting for 800 guests. The event included a performance by an ACL performing artist Portugal. The Man. and dinner from Austin’s Taco Mafia. Attendees enjoyed activities like the Tipsy Toss, Gift Card Gamble, and YETI Raffle, and participated in an auction led by the Cowboy Auctioneer team with unique items and experiences, raising substantial funds, Inspiring stories from park beneficiaries highlighted the impact of the Foundation’s work helping to raise nearly $500,000.
